Cricket,as they say is a dicey game and especially T20 cricket flatters to deceive even the greatest pundits of the game.

Wow, what a terrific match we witnessed! Even though we lost, the lines that I have been constantly chanting was:

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,

Wonder-boy Raina is our Super Star!!!

Before I start off my blog, I thought I would highlight to our fans an interesting anecdote about Thomas Alva Edison.

Thomas Edison once tried two thousand different materials in search of a filament for the light bulb. When none worked satisfactorily, his assistant complained, "All our work is in vain. We have learned nothing."

Edison replied very confidently, "Oh, we have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We now know that there are two thousand elements which we cannot use to make a good light bulb."

The essence of the above anecdote is what is very important. To be very honest, I never thought we are going to make a game of it going by the way Victoria openers blasted. Till half of their innings, they were looking like the Victors until our captain Dhoni pulled a rabbit out of his hat in the form of Raina.

I would be lying, if I were to say that I was not disappointed at our loss. But as a true CSK fan, I can really hold my head high given the way we competed against a team like Victoria.

There has been lots of talks and criticism about our captain cool giving the ball to Ashwin to bowl the Super Over. For all those critics' attention, it is the same Dhoni who has won us the IPL this year, and it is the same person who made the tactical move of placing Hayden in a very interesting field position to get rid of the danger-man Pollard in the IPL finals and there is much more great flavours to Dhoni. Our captain knows what he is doing, sometimes there is the rare blip, in things not working the way he plans.

I would rather like to look at his decision to bowl Ashwin in a different perspective.Look how soon,Aswin has grabbed the attention of our captain. Infact,it is Aswin who has lost a good opportunity to prove himself as he was preferred over Dougie or Murali to bowl the Super Over. Anyways, we can keep debating. At the end of the day, how well our team fought till the end like true warriors is what counts.

Raina and Vijay have become the cornerstones for our team. Vijay in particular played a gem of a knock, considering the strong Victorian bowling attack which had most of their front-line bowlers playing for their national team, his knock was a big plus and that will do his confidence a world of good.

Raina. What can one say about him? The other day, he played a blinder against the Wayambas and against the Victorians, he mesmerized them with his handy offie skills. The beauty of Raina is that he is a great trier in whatever he does. Cricket needs players of his attitude.

If at all we ran short of something in the match against Victoria, I would say it is LUCK. The weather and intermittent rain did not help our cause to defend as the wicket was behaving totally different.

Let's look at this failure as a challenge. As a Team, let's keep dreaming and keep moving. That is the solution for achieving success. We learn and have more confidence in what we know through trial and error, which one time or another has resulted in failure. We don't have to accept our failure if what we really want to achieve is success.

On paper and performance, Warriors might be the in-form team in our group. That doesn't mean they can't be beaten. We are not IPL winners just for nothing. If all the fists of our team can realize what they have achieved in the past, I am sure the game against WARRIORS would then be the Real FIST OF FURY.

Good Luck Team. On a final note, I would like to say, "The world out there is a tough place for those who dare to dream, and even tougher for those who fight for their dreams. But if you have faith in yourself and in your dreams, then, the same world will cheer for you and will shower your path to success with flowers."

Victory or defeat, we CSK fans are with you. Once again, Well Played!!!
