It’s been another frustrating week for me hoping to get some action in the Champions League T20, but having to make do with a place on the sidelines as I had to do in the IPL.
I have got used to it, but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating. Also, with this tournament, because there are so few games in such a short space of time, you can’t really take your foot off the pedal and play some second-choice players, as just about every game is...

A bit of déjà vu as I send you greetings, once again, from India. The Champions League T20 is well underway and I’m looking to win another trophy with the Chennai Super Kings.
Unfortunately, I’ve also picked up my now customary ‘Delhi Belly’, so the past few days have been pretty miserable. It’s been so bad, in fact that I haven’t even been able to get out of bed and go to practice. I’ve been man down and flat on my back -- one of the worst...

I’m on my way to India for the Champions League Twenty20 where I’ll once again be playing for the Chennai Super Kings, but before that, a quick update on what’s taken place this week.

Training, accolades and the Boks

It’s been a week dominated by training with the Titans, but a good week nonetheless, as I’ve got some good work done. I’ve also been able to meet new Titans coach Matthew Maynard who finally arrived after some trouble with his visa.
Personally, I’ve been very impressed with Matthew, particularly with his dealings with me as I’m in a slightly different situation to the rest of the Titans guys due to the fact that I leave for India this...
